There are seven major hidden energy centers in our body.  These energy centers are called Chakras.  Chakra (pronounced shockrah) is a Sanskrit word meaning “wheel of life” or “wheel of light”.  It refers to the spinning vortex of energy created when magnetic energy from the earth rises up and meets electrical energy descending from the cosmos.  These are the key to mental clarity, emotional stability and physical health.  These energy centers stimulate various endocrine organs in the body to secrete hormones into the blood system.  Things like lack of imagination, emotional or health issues, trouble concentrating, or battling lack of finances, can be helped by working with the chakras.  The chakras regulate the flow of energy. We control this energy by the way we react to everyday situations, what decisions we make, how we treat ourselves and others.  Negative behaviors, dreadful decisions, disease and constant worry will slow down or shut down a specific chakra.
